In our culture, there is a great emphasis placed on the advantages of having large breasts. However, many women with uncomfortably large breasts also know the downside of this gift. Often, physical and sometimes psychological pain is accompanied by enlarged breasts, causing women to feel insecure or have physical disadvantages.
At Vanity 360 clinic, we understand these intense feelings and focus on relieving the symptoms. We strongly believe that Breast Reduction surgery can help women recapture their confidence and eliminate the negative physical side effects caused by overly large breasts. Our goal is not simply to create smaller breasts, but rather to create smaller, shapelier breasts that are in balance with a woman’s body.

How is Breast Reduction Performed?
The procedure requires general anesthesia, a proper surgical center and usually takes three to four hours. The technique depends on how much breast tissue needs to be removed. The most common involves an anchor-shaped incision that encircles the areola, extends downwards and follows the natural curve of the breast crease under the breast. The excess glandular tissue, fat and skin are removed and the nipple is repositioned.
Best Candidate for Breast Reduction
The surgical procedure is recommended on candidates with very large, sagging breasts who tend to have neck, back, and shoulder pain. Patients of any age may have this surgery, however, we recommend waiting until the breasts have fully developed. Breast Reduction is not recommended for those women who intend to breastfeed

The incisions can vary from being a lollipop shape to an anchor shape. The downtime is about two weeks and in most circumstances is performed as an outpatient surgery. Dr. Tristan Huy tailors the procedure to alleviate your symptoms, create a beautiful shape and conceal incisions.
What to Expect During Your Recovery
After surgery, you will be wrapped in an elastic bandage over gauze for the first few days and you will wear a post-surgical bra. There will be discomfort for a couple of days and increased nipple sensation. You will be up and around in a couple of days, however, you should plan to be off work for about a week. Many patients report immediate relief from back and neck pain. Post-surgical instructions will be given including scar reducing cream, specialty bra garments and when to return to your normal daily activities including exercise. Patients will not only have relief from this procedure but also the ability to exercise better, wear more fitting clothes and many have psychological benefits.
How Much Does it Cost?
While the cost varies based on your goals and the treatment plan, Dr. Huy ensures his treatment costs are affordable and fair, while providing excellent results. After all, the best shot and getting the optimal result is the first surgery.
