Facial features are often the first to show the impact of the inevitable changes of aging. Defined creases appear on the face and forehead as a natural consequence of lifelong exposure to the sun and other environmental forces. Another common concern is sagging around the eyebrows, as well as vertical wrinkles embedded in the area between the eyebrows, sometimes called “frown lines”.

Natural-Looking Youthful Brows
Over 90 percent of communication is nonverbal. Much of this is communicated through your facial expressions, especially around the eyes and forehead. A low brow often comes across as tired, low-energy or angry. Faces also change as we age, loosening skin, and creating grooves, creases and wrinkles, contributing to this tired look
Forehead and brow lifts are procedures used to alleviate drooping eyebrows and reduce forehead wrinkle lines, lines on the bridge of the nose and between the eyes, and frown lines. It improves the appearance of frown lines and vertical creases between the eyebrows, raises sagging brows and creates an alert and youthful appearance.
With these surgeries, incisions are hidden within or behind the hairline, and the excess skin is removed to improve brow position and reduce the appearance of wrinkles.
A forehead or browlift lift may be performed in conjunction with upper and/or lower eyelid surgery, facelift or skin resurfacing.

A Brow Lift removes lines and creases that are sometimes mistaken for emotional expressions of anger or anxiety.
A Brow Lift procedure addresses these and other telltale signs of aging by restoring the youthful appearance to your most prominent facial features. If you are not satisfied with the appearance of the skin on your forehead, eyelids or brows consider cosmetic intervention to restore its elasticity and smooth look. During the procedure, Dr. Tristan Huy strives for the most natural look possible, concealing incisions along the hairline or other discrete locations. For maximum positive impact, the procedure is often paired with Face Lift or Eyelid Surgery.

What are the different kinds of forehead and brow lifts?
The Direct Brow Lift
The Direct Brow Lift uses an incision hidden along the upper border of the eyebrow to remove a portion of forehead skin and raise the eyebrows. This may be a good option for people who do not have deep forehead lines and desire modest improvement in brow position.
The Indirect Brow Lift
The Indirect Brow Lift uses an incision hidden within an existing forehead line to remove a portion of the redundant forehead skin and elevate the brows. This is usually most suitable for people, generally men, with high hairlines and numerous deep forehead wrinkles. This approach is also good for people who have asymmetric eyebrows who wish to have them appear more symmetric.
The Tricophytic Brow Lift
The Tricophytic Brow Lift is best suited for people who not only want to raise their drooping eyebrows but are also interested in lowering their high hairlines. This approach is ideal for treating someone with a long forehead (high hairline) and heavy eyebrows. The incision runs along the border of the hairline and is nearly invisible after the healing process is complete.
The Endoscopic Brow Lift
The Endoscopic Brow Lift procedure, which uses small incisions hidden behind the hairline, elevates droopy skin and heavy eyebrows. Through this approach, it is also possible to weaken the muscles that cause frown lines. We use special absorbable devices underneath the skin (not visible from the outside) to ensure that the brow stays in the correct position throughout the healing process. The Endoscopic Brow Lift is considered a “minimally invasive” approach to brow rejuvenation and is associated with no visible scars, minimal swelling, and a quick recovery.
What can I expect after surgery?
You should expect some bruising and swelling of your eyelids following surgery. The bruising may take a week or two to fully resolve, but the swelling generally resolves within the first few days after surgery. Because the bruising is generally far away from your incisions (unless you also have blepharoplasty surgery), you will be able to use makeup to help camouflage the bruising.
There will be mild postoperative discomfort, which is easily controlled with pain medication that will be prescribed to you after surgery.
Along your brow lift incisions, sutures or clips are generally removed 7-10 days after your surgery. If you also have a blepharoplasty, the sutures in your eyelids are usually removed 6-7 days after surgery. Makeup along or near your incisions may be applied shortly after sutures are removed.
It is common to have some degree of temporary numbness of your scalp and forehead after a brow lift procedure. All brow lift procedures carry some risk of permanent numbness of the forehead, but this is very uncommon in the hands of an experienced surgeon like Dr. Tristan Huy.
How Much Does it Cost?
While the cost varies on your goals and the treatment plan, Dr. Tristan Huy ensures his treatment costs are affordable and fair, while providing excellent results. After all, the best shot and getting the optimal result is the first surgery.

A hairline forehead lift is a surgical procedure to raise the hairline and improve the appearance of frown lines, horizontal wrinkles, and other signs of aging in the forehead. The surgery involves removing skin and adjusting muscles and tissues to raise the position of the eyebrows and move the hairline higher on the forehead.
The forehead lift will last around ten years. However, several factors can affect how long the procedure lasts, including how well you take care of your health. The forehead lift is a relatively minor surgical procedure; most people experience little to no complications.
A brow lift can help smooth forehead wrinkles. The surgery involves reshaping the underlying muscles and tissues and removing excess skin. This will help improve the forehead’s appearance and reduce the visibility of wrinkle
Technically, a brow lift is a subset of a forehead lift. A brow lift is a surgery that elevates the eyebrows, while a forehead lift is a surgery that lifts the entire forehead. Both procedures can improve the appearance of wrinkles and sagging skin on the face.
There are a few surgical options for lifting eyebrows. One option is a forehead lift, which surgically removes excess skin from the forehead and raises the eyebrows. Another option is an endoscopic brow lift, which uses a small camera to guide the surgeon through small incisions near the hairline. These surgeries hide incisions within or behind the hairline, leaving minimal scarring.
An eyebrow lift is done by an incision in the hairline above the eyebrows. The skin is then lifted, and excess skin is removed. The eyebrows are then reshaped and sutured in place.
A brow lift will generally last around five years. However, in some cases, it can last for up to ten years. Factors affecting how long a brow lift lasts include the patient’s age, skin type, and how well they take care of their skin after the surgery.
Good candidates for a brow lift are typically people who have developed wrinkles or lines on their forehead or have sagging or drooping eyebrows. Candidates should be in good health and have realistic expectations about what the surgery can achieve.
The best way to determine whether you need a brow lift is to have a professional examine your face. You might need a brow lift if you have sagging eyebrows that make you look tired or older than you are or if your eyebrows are positioned too high or too low on your forehead. You can use a mirror to examine your eyebrows and forehead to determine if they appear to droop.
Following surgery, you may experience bruising and swelling of your eyelids. The healing process should take about one week or less to resolve both effects.
